How to close your account, what gets deleted, and what we have to keep.
How to delete your account
Log in
Log in to K-verything with the account you want to delete.
Open Privacy settings
Open Privacy settings and find “Delete account”.
Confirm
Read the notice and confirm. You'll be logged out and the 30-day waiting period starts.
If you can't log in, contact help@dwelllab.kr and we'll help.
When your data is deleted
What gets deleted
- Your profile and sign-in link (nickname, country, language and K-Profile)
- Your study records: level test results, study plan, missions, practice notes and streaks
- Your MY diary: entries, photos, weekly reports and what the coach remembers
- Your AI tutor conversations and summaries
- Your agreement history and settings
- Your membership record (we also close your customer record with our payment provider)
- Your remaining credits and your referral link
What we have to keep for a while
Some records must be kept for the period the law requires, even after your account is deleted. Your account itself is anonymised first.
- Payment and order records: 5 years (e-commerce law)
- Records of complaints or disputes, if there are any: 3 years
- Credit history: kept for 5 years and linked only to an anonymous account marker (no personal details)
- Our payment provider, Polar, keeps its own transaction and tax records under its own policy
- An anonymous account marker and de-identified usage and security logs. These hold no personal details
30 days to change your mind
Your account is deleted for good 30 days after you confirm, and you're logged out right away. If you log in again within those 30 days, you can cancel the deletion and keep everything.
If you have a paid plan
Your plan won't renew after the period you've already paid for. Canceling the deletion later does not restart it; you can subscribe again from Membership. Refunds follow our refund policy.
